Premier Tickets/Advertisement
These are the tickets I created using faketicketgenerator.com because I wanted our tickets that we would distribute to look like the old style cinema tickets that Odeon use as they look quite professional and realistic. We handed these out to students and teachers above the age of 15 around our school in order to remind them to come to the premier as a form of promotion.
Another way of promoting our products, along with two other groups, was to write a notice on the whiteboard upstairs in an area where quite a large group of people in our year, often hang out. Having this here would remind them to come to our premier as well as any teachers or other students who are suitable to view it.
Before we showed our audience the actual trailer, we briefly went over our narrative with them in a presentation that we made as a group on PowerPoint. In this we just discussed some of the reasons behind our products as well as the decisions that went into them. We also showed them our poster and magazine cover so they could get an overall idea of our promotion package as a whole and see all the products link in together.

Poster & Magazine Audience Feedback
As a group, we asked our media class, who are all within our target audience, for some feedback on the poster and magazine cover we created to go alongside our trailer. I also asked a few of my friends individually for their opinions and this is the feedback I received:

MAGAZINE: Shots Taken/Mise - en - Scene
Mid shot - We took a range of photos that were all mid shots against a black background as we wanted it to be different from the poster image which has a white background, but also because it links to the horror genre better too as darkness is a common convention of horror. However when we were looking back at these images to choose our final one, we found that the black background didn't look professional enough but also the mise-en-scene of Ruby was blended into the back which we didn't want because her clothes are there to be seen. Also we thought that it would be harder to put the type of text we wanted over this image as white would look too stark and any red may not be noticeable enough as it could potentially blend into the background a bit, especially when we would add drop shadows, bevel & emboss etc.
Final shot - This is the image we decided to use for our magazine as we felt it stood out a lot and would give the sense of fear the most. As we wanted a hand to be creeping over her shoulder to insinuate that she is being sought after by the villain, this image made it look the most intense or unsettling because the hand looks somewhat unnatural but also the way that our model is looking at it as her facial expression is simple but yet it still seems scared. We decided to use an image with a white background in the end as it would allow us to work more with graphics and text that would stand out better than on a black background. This mid to long shot is also effective as the body language is visible and here she seems introverted and afraid due to the positioning of her arms and hands, as well as he head being tilted. The mise en scene of the black clothes is also a lot more visible and therefore effective in this image as it can portray danger and terror. The lighting on Ruby's face, we found was also the most effective as we used a red colour sheet over one of the lights to give a red tint which again can indicate danger and is also representative of blood.
